Main Idea of a Quadratic function:

A quadratic graph is shaped like the letter “U”. It opens upwards or downwards. The coefficient of the function tells you how narrow or big the graph will open as. The domain contains all real numbers and the range contains all real numbers greater than or equal to zero. There are three different forms of quadratic functions (standard, factored, and vertex form). Quadratic functions are used in the real world through moving objects, determining minimum and maximum values, and much more.
